I get to use Hugh at last!

Meet Ethan Brooks, the hero in JOURNEY OF THE HEART.
(and yes, he's inspired by your favourite and mine, Hugh Jackman.)

I needed a nice guy for this role, a guy who's Tamara's best friend, a guy who's there for her during two devastating losses in the last year.
And Hugh screams nice guy to me (yes, I know he's sexy too) but I really needed a special hero for Tamara and he's it.

Thanks to Dena, Lois and Ellen for taking a stab at guessing what this book's about from the collage.
I think you all deserve a book so email me privately and I'll send you a signed copy of HOT NIGHTS WITH A PLAYBOY, which hasn't been released in the US yet!

Speaking of free books, I'm giving away a copy of THE DESERT PRINCE'S PROPOSAL over at The Romance Studio today.

And keen to meet Tamara?
Pop back tomorrow!

I hope this is the right face to express what I did when I saw this post about Hot Nights with a Playboy. .. :0 Hope that's a jaw dropping face. Anyway, that's what I did. Thank you lots, you sure didn't have to do that, but of course I totally appreciate that you did! And can't wait to read it -- as soon as I remember to email you! LOL :)

But more importantly -- Hugh, awwwww! :) See, I don't like him in X-Men, but there are other times that he's oh so cute. Like right there! :) But I think it's like you said -- when he's screaming nice guy, I like him more than he's screaming. . . whatever he's screaming as Wolverine. LOLOLOL :)

I'm sitting watching the weather channel on TV as Hurricane Dolly makes landfall only 150 miles south of me and tornado warnings in the bands of rain falling on me and thinking the day can only get worse when I read your blog and find you are going to send me some HOT NIGHTS WITH A PLAYBOY. Now that brightened up my day. LOL And altho it wasn't necessary it is certainly appreciated. Will email you immediately.

That's great, Lois.
I thought it might be a nice surprise :)

And you're right about Hugh. I've never even seen him in XMen because I don't think I could handle seeing the sweet, lovable guy he is all hairy and howling ;)

OMG Ellen,
hope you're ok? Weather there sounds pretty scary at the moment...

So glad the book was a bright spot :)

Will get it in the mail asap.

Woohoo a book, you know how to brighten up a day Nic! I am thrilled to receive HOT NIGHTS WITH A PLAYBOY, especially since it isn't over here yet. I was happy to here my guess was pretty close except it was the heroine with the hardship. Your the best. Thanks so much!

Hope your okay Ellen? I always worry during Hurricane season about my loved ones and others in the path of the hurricanes, there so devistating.

This time everyone is fine. Now to get through the next 128 days of hurricane season. And no I didn't count the days, just ran into a web site than is.

You're welcome, Dena :)

Ellen,
another 128 days?
Sounds a bit stressful...hope everyone's ok over that time.

I hate windy days here, couldn't imagine a hurricane!
