She loved my story!
Line edits were minor, just a few clarifications of 'Aussie-isms' and a few lines added to the end of the story to show a hint of HEA.
Initially, I wanted to leave the reader hanging with the relationship regarding Fox and Lee. But now, there's enough of a hint towards a possible happily ever after...
Speaking of the characters, you know who inspired my hero Fox.
Here's who inspired my heroine Coralee Keaton.

Jodi Lyn O'Keefe was an extreme 'baddie' in Prison Break, and her toughness, coldness yet subtle vulnerability summed up my heroine perfectly.
I really, really wish I had the time to write a romantic suspense series featuring these characters...they're so vivid!
Maybe once I get these next 2 short deadlines out of the way...

Nicola, that woman terrified me on Prison Break! Lucky she's going to have a strong Spec Ops guy as her hero :)
Soraya
I for one would be thrilled to get my hands on that romantic suspense series :D.
Fabulous choice of heroine, she was such a fascinating character in Prison Break. I wouldn't have wanted to meet her in a dark alley.
Great news Nicola! Your heroine looks the part I must say! God luck with the other "dreadlines". Take care. Caroline x
Soraya, she was super scary on Prison Break!
Okay, Lacey, I better write it then, just for you :)
She was fascinating...what really interested me was her vulnerable side, when we discovered she had a child and the sacrifice she made at the end for Sarah.
'Dreadlines'?
That's a riot, Caroline! Never heard them called that but oh so true :)
Nicola - have to confess I pinched "dreadlines" from Kate Walker and Michelle Styles -- they both use it! Another one is the mip "Mess In Progress" as opposed to wip! Credit to Michelle on that one as well! Take care. Caroline x
Very clever, Caroline, from Ms. Walker and Ms. Styles :)
