Glomming

Remember how I raved about Barbara Samuel's NO PLACE LIKE HOME last week?
Well, I've devoured 2 more of her books since then, MADAME MIRABOU'S SCHOOL OF LOVE and LADY LUCK'S MAP OF VEGAS.
She's a fabulous author.
If you love books packed with emotion, with real characters that will make you laugh and cry, grab her books.
I hadn't heard the term 'glomming' till recently (where you devour an author's backlist) and I'm proud to say I'm now a glommer of Barbara Samuel.

Hi Nic, I know you read fast, but these books were read really fast!! I know when I love a book with all the packing you mentioned I read a bit faster too. I love the cover of MMSOL.

Do you have a fave so far, Nic?

I grabbed a copy of Lady Luck at the conference bookshop and LOVED it and can't wait to join you in your glomming.

Yeah, Dena, I'm a fast reader. I read both books in 3 days!
Devoured them!

And yeah, that's one gorgeous cover. Comes directly from a scene in the book, with those gorgeous colours.

My fave is definitely No Place Like Home, Michelle.
A brilliant, heartwarming story.
Lady Luck would be my second :)

Never "glommed" an author before? Wow....

I can think of a half a dozen of my must buy authors who I glommed their backlist once I started. Now.. I'm embarrassed to say that some of them had been around a long while (coughs... Nora Roberts) and I had never read her until I read her as JD Robb.

Sigh.. so many books so little time.

Ann,
there's loads of authors I'd like to glom too, just don't seem to have the time...

We need you writing not glomming. :)

LOL Ann,

I'm doing both, promise!
