New look

Author copies of this arrived in the mail yesterday.

It's my first up close and personal look at the new UK M&B covers.

I like the 'mainstream' feel to the books and I like this cover.
But nowhere does the cover give a real 'feel' for the book.

By my constant raves, you all know what A TRIP WITH THE TYCOON is about. Exotic, mystical India. And yes, the Taj Mahal features in several scenes so seeing it on the cover is like a little preview snapshot.

So while this UK pic is lovely, do you think it gives the reader choosing from many books on a shelf in a limited period of time a quick glimpse into the book?

I'm looking forward to hearing reader feedback.
And hope sales show a positive response too!

Wow it's a great cover but it really doesn't tell you anything about your story does it? I love the exotic setting of the other cover.

I love your single title Australia cover. It is perfect and it makes me really want to read your book, it makes it seem exotic and different. I prefer single titles to the 2-in-1 format.

Nice new covers but to me I really love the Harlequin Romance cover with the couple with the Taj Mahal in the background. I feel like it's a snapshot of the story right there on the cover.

Hi Nicola. As a UK reader of M&B - I must say I prefer the older covers. Of course it won't stop me buying the books - a good story is a good story - no matter the cover but...... Take care. Caroline x

Well, from what I can see on a screen, I can't say they are bad, because they aren't, but maybe it's different in person. But since I'm on the other side of the pond as they say, I'll just have to go with what others say. I just know it last year or something took me a while to realize that an older book I have was a Harlequin Romance like A Trip with the Tycoon, as an example, was. It was something like my first or second Harlequin category book, Liz Fielding as a matter of fact, but it has the blue lettering/top. When I stopped to look at it, it hit me that somewhere along the way, they changed the look of them. LOL :)

Thanks for your opinions.

I'm really interested to see how these new covers sell.

Well, hopefully!
