I've awoken to great news again today.
FOUND: HIS FAMILY has finalled in the 2007 Best Traditional Romance category of the Golden Quill award!!
I'm really thrilled as I was plagued by doubts when writing this book, considering it featured a child with leukemia and was a lot 'darker' than the type of book I usually wrote. Thankfully, readers seem to have taken to it (the book also won a Cataromance Reviewer's Choice Award) and discovering it has finalled in this comp is fabulous.
The Golden Quill is an authors contest for excellence in romance fiction and for a list of past winners, head on over to the website.
So, picture me jumping for joy. (Okay, make that waddling for joy considering I'm getting an awful lot of painful back contractions over the last day!)
