Call me

I have succumbed to peer pressure.

Am the proud owner of an iPhone.

All looks very glam and fabulous...now if only I could get the thing to work properly...

See my stagnant word count? Blame this!
Trying to figure out all the ins and outs is a real time suck.

No prizes for guessing what I'll be doing over the weekend...making up lost word count!

Yeah, been seeing the saga on twitter there about the phone -- hope you figure it out soon! :) Me, got a new computer last month, got a new printer and external hard drive two days ago (which is why I didn't read your book as fast as I could have, so it took a while to get to the awww moments at the end, mighty good by the way!). . . all nice and easy to figure out (well, the Windows 7 did take a bit of figuring since I was going from an XP machine to a 7 one), but things just simply took lots of time! Installing things from stratch, moving other stuff from one to the other; oh, and switching external hard drives - all that stuff took all afternoon to move on over. Geez. And with a laptop, you'd think you'd get rid of some of these wires. Ha, ha, ha!!!! :)

Ooo fun! I'd love one but I'm still too traumatized from Windows 7 to try to work out an iphone lol

Aren't they pretty? Now you need to fill that screen up with lots of interesting apps. I'm thinking you need Twitter and Facebook on there :-)

Ohhh an iPhone - how lovely. Does it cook the dinner as well? I mean they seem to do *everything* these days don't they? LOL - hope you rack up the wordcount this weekend. Take care. Caroline x

I'm very nervous around any new technology, Lois: computers, phones, DVD recorders...like you saw on Twitter, I call myself the Techno dunce!

You sound like me too, Lacey.

Joanne, name change? Is that your pen name?

I wish, Caroline!

Yep, pen name and an example of my own dunceness. On new laptop, I snagged blogspot address while it was free but now can't work out how to post under Cleary any more. Whoops! Maybe it's a sign to complete the name switch properly. It's easier with me fostering to write under a different name and also, if I'm fortunate to be pubbed in the future don't want books to bear ex hubby's name! Coles is my nanna's maiden name and she introduced me to M&B reading, so it seems fitting :-)
