I love Alex Kava's Maggie O'Dell series and eagerly await new releases.
HOTWIRE is the 9th book in the series and is packed with intrigue: cattle mutilations, teen deaths, electrocution, food poisoning in schools, UFO conspiracy theories.
The mystery aspects kept me turning pages rapidly as the multi-layered plot unfolded but being a romance gal at heart, I would've liked more character development between Maggie and Benjamin Platt.
These two have danced around each other for a while now, time to give the anxious readers (ok, probably just me) more please!
What are you reading this week?
(If you're a book reviewer, my October release, SEX, GOSSIP & ROCK & ROLL, is available for review on NetGalley here now!)

I have just finished "The Amorous Education of Celia Seaton" and trying to decide between a YA book and an ARC for a book for which I have not read the previous books in the series. Hm...
I read the review of that on Dear Author the other day, Sheree, it sounded fabulous!
Go the YA for a change of pace from historical rom :)
Will be starting Susan Mallery's Someone Like You today... hopefully I can force myself to start writing up the review for the historical that I finished first... :)

Always a challenge to complete tasks before diving into a great book, Lois :)
