A fab review to start the New Year

On the heels of my Romantic Times Top Pick for MARRIAGE: FOR BUSINESS OR PLEASURE? comes another lovely review, this time from Susan Barton (a first time reviewer for my books) at ROMANCE READER AT HEART.

Marsh is a master at expressing emotions...

Marsh beautifully decorates her idyllic beach resort setting with fantasy rooms in Nick's hotel...

The brutal realities of Brit's emotional and physical abuse by her father are offset by the tender re-awakening of love and desire between Nick and Brittany. So many emotional landscapes are covered in this way too short story. I would love a longer version exploring more of Noosa, Nick, and Brittany.

Though MARRIAGE: FOR BUSINESS OR PLEASURE? is a fairly quick read, it really packs an emotional punch and my tears came often as I experienced Nick and Brittany's passion and pain.

Lovely.

And if that wasn't exciting enough, this book hits Aussie/NZ shores in Feb, but is currently NUMBER ONE on this month's Top 10 Books on the Mills and Boon OZ site.

Double yay!

More good news for my Tycoon

More good news for my favourite, A TRIP WITH THE TYCOON.

Not only did Romantic Times award it 4 1/2 stars, Romance Reader at Heart awarded it a Top Pick!

Here's what Kay James had to say:

Nicola Marsh has another wonderful escapist adventure in A TRIP WITH THE TYCOON. It reads like a breeze and is the ideal romantic tale for any armchair traveler...While I have never read a book by Nicola Marsh that I didn't enjoy, I have to admit that I enjoyed this one more than the others. Why? Because experiencing India on the "Palace on Wheels" with Tamara and Ethan was so vivid and enchanting, I felt as if I was actually along for the ride.
India's sights, sounds, aromas, and foods all come alive on the pages, making this romance an absolute delight. Well done!

And my Tycoon is in Harlequin's Top 10 Road Trip books!

Also, to round off a day of good news, the new UK cover featured in an article for the UK's 'Campaign' here.

I think I'm seriously in love with this book :)

Lovely review!

My sexy archaeologist has received another lovely review, this time from ROMANCE READER AT HEART.

Here it is!

I’ve got to admit that I’m a Nicola Marsh fan. When I read one of her stories I know that the plot will be fast and fun, the characters smart and sexy and the writing flawless. Another thing I enjoy about her stories is the fact that they give a glimpse of exotic locations, something that adds to my reading pleasure. THE BOSS’S BEDROOM AGENDA did not disappoint on any of these points. Set in Melbourne, this is a tale of a woman whose shoe savvy is eclipsed only by her fear of finding—then losing—the one thing she truly wants.

From the first chapter, Beth is an endearing character. Her arrival for her first day as a museum tour guide late, and wearing a pair of Manolos instead of sensible shoes, sets the tone for her relationship with her new boss, drop-dead gorgeous Aidan Voss. He is an archeological whiz; she’s a metal sculptor. Together they bring more sizzle to the Melbourne Museum than any of its exhibits. The chemistry between the pair is obvious even at their first meeting, and as the story progresses it continues to grow. After a fund raiser their flirting takes a passionate turn, but even when Beth spells out exactly what she wants—what she needs—Aidan is determined to put in his time at the museum so he can get back to his archeological digs.

A story about compromises and commitment, THE BOSS’S BEDROOM AGENDA is both emotionally satisfying and entertaining. I enjoyed every minute of it, and look forward to more from this talented author.

Thanks Kay!

Another shot of confidence

I've had another lovely review for THE DESERT PRINCE'S PROPOSAL so I'm finally starting to relax a little over this book :)

Here's what ROMANCE READER AT HEART had to say:

"THE DESERT PRINCE'S PROPOSAL by Nicola Marsh is pure fun. A fast, wonderfully well-written read, it rekindles every fantasy about Prince Charming, exotic desert lands and being swept off my feet I ever had.

While this story has been told before in lots of variations, this telling stands apart. Ms. Marsh's characters are quick-witted, intelligent and definitely have chemistry enough to make the romance sizzle. The setting is wonderful, with plenty of details to make it all come to life. THE DESERT PRINCE'S PROPOSAL is a great, bite-sized romance! Well done!"

And just in case you've forgotten who inspired Prince Samman al Wali, here he is. Nice. Very nice.

And speaking of my desert prince, I'm running a HUGE competition to coincide with the release of this book.

Details shortly!

Whetting your appetite

Here's a new review for MISTRESS TO THE TYCOON just in!

ROMANCE READER AT HEART'S THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS:

MISTRESS TO THE TYCOON by Nicola Marsh is a great sizzling romance from beginning to end.

Gallery owner Ariel Wallace has promised her aunt that she will keep the gallery afloat, one way or another. If that includes painting nudes, then so be it. But when Cooper Vance, a property developer, walks into the studio, she's not certain she can go through with the plan. Ariel brews tea while Cooper undresses. Thus, the two embark on a journey that has its share of paintable moments.

I thought Ariel and Cooper were a perfect match, despite their worlds being so dissimilar. Beneath the surface of the artist and below the money belt they were just two people who deserve love. I especially liked the way Ariel's emotions were a source for her painting. I could see the brushstrokes on canvas as she worked through her issues with Cooper and the gallery. And Cooper, despite his repeatedly telling himself that his connection to Ariel was only business, became more endearing with each kiss.

4 roses for this one. Nice :)
