RBY finalist!

Absolutely thrilled that ROMANCE FOR CYNICS is a finalist for this year's RBY (Romantic Book of the Year) award in the Best Short Sexy category.

I loved pitting two cynics against each other in this book and I'm so glad the reader judges approved!

I won this award in 2013 but the ceremony was in Fremantle so I couldn't attend.
This year's event is in Melbourne in August and I can't wait!

Still celebrating

I'm still celebrating my RBY win!

This lovely bouquet arrived from Harlequin Australia, and the irises are just blooming.

Along with the congratulatory mega bouquet and choccies from hubby, I'm feeling very spoilt.

My latest newspaper interview

Yesterday I was interviewed by the Sydney Morning Herald following my RBY win.

I won the RBY!!!

I'm absolutely THRILLED I won the RuBY!!!!

Or more precisely, my heroine Ruby in Marrying the Enemy won the RUBY!

Sadly, I was unable to attend the awards ceremony so the very gracious Anne Gracie accepted the award on my behalf and delivered my acceptance speech.

I've been sick for the last few weeks, so was curled up on the couch glued to Twitter as the announcements rolled in...and was stunned to see my name pop up as the winner!

I'm so stoked that readers loved this book as much as I do.

Now, to make space in my office... :)

Awards night

Tonight, this book that won the National Readers' Choice Award recently is up for a RBY award (RWAust. Romantic Book of the Year.)

Sadly, I'm not at the awards ceremony but I'm keeping everything crossed!

And the winner is...

Tonight, I'll be attending the Romance Writers of Australia annual awards dinner, where the winners of the prestigious RBY will be announced.

This is my first nomination and I'm a bundle of excited nerves!

BUSTED IN BOLLYWOOD has a long history and I'm thrilled it is now in the running for Romantic Book of the Year in the 'romantic elements' category.

Gold Coast, here I come!

Yeah, I've just booked flights so this is where I'm headed in August!

With BUSTED IN BOLLYWOOD being my first book to final in the R*BY Awards, I really wanted to be there and I can't wait to catch up with writing buddies at the Gold Coast.

Romantic Book of the Year finalist!

I'm absolutely thrilled to announce BUSTED IN BOLLYWOOD is a finalist for RWAustralia's Romantic Book of the Year!

It's the first time I've been a finalist in this prestigious award and to have it happen with this book is extra special for me.

The winners are announced at the awards dinner at the RWAus conference on the Gold Coast in August.

I have too much on my plate to attend the conference this year but now I'm oh so tempted to fly up for the awards...
