I'm blown away that this book was written by a 16 yo teenager.Not because of the language or the way it was written but for the subject matter and the realistic way it is explored.

I just finished "Flipped" by Wendelin Van Draanen. It was adorable. I was in the mood for some "sweet" young romance story. This was probably even more "pre YA" than YA, but it was just what a I wanted.
I'm finishing up a review book, Wish You Were Here by Phillipa Ashley, but also started The Grand Design by Stephen Hawking -- definitely not historical. ;) And only finally getting to it - think it came out last December... LOL

Not really -- I basically only read one book at a time, but this time since I was towards the end of the review one, I wanted to start the next. But these are two totally different subjects (contemporary romance vs astrophysics) that it would really crazy to confuse them. LOL And I try to limit what review books I get; the one regular list that I get is from Sourcebooks, and I'll say not this month if I just think I better not or something. So, I try to keep everything doable that way. :)
